Description
Spend a day exploring Japan's UNESCO Heritage Site Mt. Fuji and the Hakone Area. After visiting the 5th Station, cruise on Lake Ashi and take a ride up the Komagatake Ropeway. End your day with a ride back to Tokyo by bullet train! Go on this exciting tour of Mount Fuji; one of Japan's "Three Holy Mountains" and is also awarded as a "Special Place of Scenic Beauty." Get as close as you can and gaze at it from the 5th Station, the nearest viewing station. On a clear day, its exceptionally symmetrical cone which is snow-capped for about 5 months a year is magnificent. While you're at it, check out the Komitake Shrine and the souvenir shops all located at the station too! This tour also takes you around the Hakone Area! Cruise on the waters of Lake Ashi and admire the view from a unique vantage point. Also, hop on the Komagatake Mountain Ropeway and take in the 360-degree views from above the lake. The tour operator is not responsible for taxi fares, overnight accommodations or other expenses occasioned by a tour’s late return due to unavoidable circumstances. No refunds are offered for tours that may leave the destination earlier than planned.
- Please note that the tour does not guarantee clear visibility of Mt. Fuji. In such cases, the tour price will not be refunded and an alternative itinerary will be provided.
- In the event of road closure on the Fuji Subaru Line, tour of the Mt.Fuji Fifth Station will not be possible. Instead, you will be taken to the Mt. Fuji visitor's center.
